What we are learning about this Term?
Summer Term 1 2026- Mad about Minibeast
This term we are going Mad about Minibeasts! Using close observations of nature in the academy grounds, photos and artwork we will recognise and identify insects, flowers and other plant features. In Science we will learn about the plants and animals that live in habitats all over the world such as deserts and savannahs. Our art collages will be inspired by artist-author Eric Carle and in D&T we will be sewing a running stitch to create our own minibeast pouches for collecting natural treasures on outside walks!
