We are an EYFS and Year 1 class taught by Miss Pick. She loves sharing exciting Julia Donaldson stories with us and enjoys going on long walks.
What we are learning about this Term?
Spring Term 2 2026: On the Farm
In Term 4, our focus will be “On the Farm.” We will learn all about farm life, exploring the animals that live on a farm, where our food comes from, farming practices in different countries, and the various jobs people do on a farm. In Literacy, we will be reading a range of farm-themed books, with a focus on rhyme, character descriptions, story sequencing, and making predictions. Our genre focuses this term is country music. We will be listening to and exploring country music from the past through to the present day.
