MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS
We are an EYFS and Year 1 class taught by Miss Pick. She loves sharing exciting Julia Donaldson stories with us and enjoys going on long walks.
What we are learning about this Term?
Autumn Term 2 – Our World
Our learning journey continues with the topic ‘Our World’. This term we will be observing seasonal changes and finding out how animals prepare and adapt to the changing seasons. Will we be learning about historical events such as Remembrance Day and finding out why Fireworks night is celebrated. We will also be looking at the celebrations of Diwali, Hanukkah and Christmas and exploring the similarities and differences between these celebrations Over the term we will be enhancing our fine motor and creative skills by drawing to music and creating mark making tools using natural objects. It truly sounds like a busy and fun term ahead, full of opportunities to explore and appreciate the beauty and diversity of our world!
