Pupils are expected to wear uniform. We believe it represents the pride our pupils have in their Academy community and it is both practical and smart. We appreciate the support of all parents/carers in maintaining the high expectations we have in our dress code.
On PE or swimming days, pupils should come to school in their PE kit. Please check your child’s class page for their scheduled PE days.
Plimsolls for indoor work; trainers or other change of footwear for outdoors.
Tracksuits/joggers, a jumper and space socks for winter weather (KS2)
Please ensure that your child bring the correct kit to school so that they can take part in PE and Games lessons.
Footwear should be sensible shoes, not trainers.
It is advisable that long hair is tied back at all times.
It should not be worn to school. All children will be asked to remove ear studs during P.E. sessions including swimming lessons and should be able to do so without the help of an adult. Pupils who are unable to remove ear studs should bring tape to cover them for P.E. and games lessons.
No nail varnish or make-up should be worn.
We recommend that ALL uniform is clearly labelled with the pupils full name.
Black v neck jumpers, cardigans and ties are all available online from our uniform supplier. A small stock is also kept in the school office.
