What the curriculum looks like at Holbeach Primary Academy
Holbeach Primary academy strives to provide an ever further enriching curriculum to support our pupils in their journey into our exciting and diverse society of our country and wider world around us.
It is important that our pupils enjoy a varied curriculum both within and beyond the classroom but that they also are enabled to develop their core skills across all areas. Our current focus in writing is to particularly focus on ample opportunities for extended writing and handwriting to support fluent speed for some identified pupils.
A wealth of links to the curriculum include JRSO work shortly to be replaced by Mini Police, Sing up and Singsation, a local initiative. We also link with the parish church who welcome learning opportunities and support for our pupils as members of their community.
We value being part of our network of schools which brings shared opportunities to enhance the curriculum.
Lincoln University brings us unique links such as research to broaden what we offer and how with clear purpose. We have just embarked on their Robot project visiting the university to network with schools beyond our community in a new initiative finding out all about robots and being involved in programming their amazing robots. This links work with the university with that tasks in school.
