Holbeach Primary Academy Mini Police

We are delighted to announce our new Mini Police Officers for the 2018/2019 academic year,

The children were selected after giving a presentation about why they wanted to hold office, and they were voted in by the children in KS2.

They are already out and about on the playground int eh morning and at lunchtimes. They represented our school in the recent Rememberance Parade in Holbeach and they are already working toward their next task.

We will keep you updated regularly on this page as to what they are doing.

Our local PCSO, Naomi would appreciate it if you could spare a few moments to follow the link below and complete a quick survey for Lincolnshire Police. Many thanks in advance. Mr Cowie

Lincolnshire Police Fatal 4 Task

The children had a fantastic time this morning as we used the speed gun on Boston Road South. One group of children used the speed gun with PCSO Newell, as another group were with two local Police Officers, stopping any vehicles that were speeding or commiting other traffic offences.

Stopping cars

Once the Police Officers had spoken to the drivers, they were offered either a £100 fine for speeding, or the chance to be interviewed by the Mini Police. The children spoke to many drivers, and spoke to them about the importance of staying within the speed limit.

The Mini Police are GO!!
